(page 81) The sudden volte-face of Tiwari was enigmatic at the inception. However, soon that noble but intelligent player as Raghu was, could place two and two together. It was apparent beforehand that he had won the first round. To his insightful mind, the facts were palpable. Indeed, the SP was trying to placate him, for Raghu had heaped on him an insurmountable fait accompli. This reconciliation was his pragmatic stride!

(page 83) In chronologically proximate sequential time frames, he would select an area and make an action plan. It was that afternoon of January, which left an indelible impression on that bell-ringer.

 (page 87) The discordant factors of such a fragile political assimilation were rectified substantially in the altered scenario. The progenies were such versatile syntheses.

(page 137) When several of such crafty initiatives amalgamated sequentially, it had a snowballing effect – one conducive stand, setting on another, and yet on another. It would build-up a grand edifice. The panorama so created would completely obscure the true picture – the satanic scenes of hell by the devils posing as blameless souls !

My Take : The book carries the note “All incidents and characters are fictitious”, and is about fighting corruption at various levels by a fictitious police officer. The author, an IPS officer, in his crusade against corruption saw rough times, finally putting in his papers. He has made a movie “Kya Yahi Sach Hai” based on this book. The English in the book is very stilted and poorly written.
